What is this ?

Histopathology refers to the group of tests of a biopsy or surgical specimen by a pathologist after the specimen has been processed and mounted on glass slides. Thus, it revolves around the domain of diagnosing and medical interpretation of cells and tissue samples.

Why do I need this :

Histopathology proves its important nature in the determination and interpretation of:

  1. Infectious diseases : Microbiological examination of tissues often fail to interpret the exact cause, whereas in histopathology, the chief causative factors like injury, inflammation or infarction can be deftly determined.

No prior preparation such as fasting or ion tracing is needed. But having said that, it is also important for you to know that due to heavy incoming patient traffic, we literally strive to keep your appointments on schedule.
